About Me:
I'm not really into writing a huge narrative on my philosophy on instrument building, 100 year old
tone woods, acoustical properties or any other concept related to the Zen of luthier. Honestly,
I know very little about that stuff, and am learning as I go along. I will say that I have a
background in woodworking, I have a desire to build a quality instrument and I am having an
absolute blast doing it. I got into building instruments, like many others, because I wanted
another instrument but didn't have the funds to buy it. So, I decided to build my own, and
continued to build some more with encouragement from friends and family.
Additionally, I am married with a son. I have played hockey all my life, which I continue to do
several times a week, as well as being a referee. It isn't uncommon for me to spend 15-20
hours a week on the ice in one capacity or another. During the summer, while not playing
hockey, I sail recreationaly and competitively. Unfortunately, I don't spend near enough time
playing music as I should, and maybe someday that will change.
My Day Job
I own and operate a low volume production woodworking company. My primary business is
providing private label wood products to distributors and wholesalers. You can see some of my
products HERE. A majority of my business is supplying products to the funeral business and ad
specialties industry. Orders range in size from as little as 15 pieces up to 100. Often times, my
customers will submit annual blanket orders which I will make partial shipments based on a
predetermined schedule. BUT, enough about my day job....

Bandsaw, Oscillating Spindle Sander, 18" and 50" belt sander, DynaBrade Pneumatic Sander,
Craftsman Drill Press, Homemade Duplicarver, 160 Gallon Ingersoll-Rand Air Compressor,
Binks HVLP with 1 gallon pressure pot, Graco-Croix HVLP with 5 gallon pressure pot, 200
sq. ft. spray booth and some other stuff I can't recall.
